The NYC subway is currently *according to Paul's vision* a bastardization (almost like a prostitute) of everything that New York once was and/or could be.
This song resonates deeply with me because I think it speaks to that feeling most of us have, that our cities (our homes) shape a societal lifestyle that's not only fake, but also tacky and isolating. Ultimately depending on us to either continue and be part of the cycle, or try to break it alltogether.
