My favorite band of all time, but I'll admit they (he) have (has) had some weak points
>consistently God Tier production
>great songwriting/melodies
>lyrics/vocals ranging from 'good' to downright cringe
People give Trent a lot of shit for basically making poppier ripoffs of acts like Ministry and Skinny Puppy, but ultimately he kept evolving and wound up with a ton of artistic accomplishments while the 'real ones' just stagnated and burned out making the same shit over and over again and playing shit like Ozz Fest and bar shows for 45 year olds who unironically wear welding goggles and bandolier belts in public.

Trent Reznor is the only real band member because he's too much of a prick to work with any other musician for longer than a day or two. Billy Corgan was less of a control freak.
