If you can do other things while listening to music you're not listening to the right music. Good music is like an acid trip that leaves you in a trance. Music where you can close your eyes and picture what the song is meant to convey. Modern pop has no sophistication, no soul. It can barely even be called music. Autotune, repetitive lyrics about feminism, breakups and dancing. Of course you could listen to that but it would be equivalent to watching a movie and just putting it the background while you file your taxes or whatever.
