Would it be faggy of me to try and get my vinyl copy of this signed by the artist at a show at a small venue? Guy's music has changed so much I don't want to be an asshole and give the impression I don't care about it but this is the only thing I have that he could sign.
i think you should do it, the artist will probably be flattered and enjoy talking with you. you can even preface it by saying what you just said- this is the only record you have but would love an autograph to commemorate seeing the live show
funny enough im seeing a band play an album in full tonight that i have a niche pressing on vinyl and means a lot to me. maybe i bring it to the show!
