Overall I like The Beatles despite being way past the age of having "the Beatles can do no wrong" type attitude. Maturity is realizing that a good portion of their material sucks, while a lot of it really is quite good, some is middling and some of it is even quite obscure which I think most people haven't bothered listening to (thinking of Meet the Beatles & With the Beatles sorta fare, even Help! I think most people haven't listened to all the way thru). All their best material is from '68 and on. I'm a big fan of the original Specktor Let it Be, personally. One last opinion: the 2009 stereo remix/remasters are the best their albums have ever sounded, to the point where they're my go-to and personal default.

Why would I care about Sam Hyde's taste in music or anything else? Maybe that's just me then, for me it was Beatles first, then Zeppelin. The good thing about the Beatles is that their pocket versions of more esoteric genres like psychidelia and metal are a gateway to other bands, so it's a bit sad when people think the "diversity" aspect means they can just listen to the Beatles for the rest of their lives. Sam is nothing but a nothingburger dickhead who spews nothing but pure fluff. Can his antics be funny time to time? yeah. But his issue is, he's wrapped himself up in so many layers of irony that even he can't even tell if the bullshit he spews out he actually believes in or not. The worst part is, is that he chooses to surround himself with people even worse than that. Most of them can barely even form a coherent sentence without sam finishing it off for them and then they eventually just agree with sam on everything, even though sam hasn't even really said anything of substance.

Do I like the beatles? No not really. Why? Because it's just not the kind of music I like to listen to. Boom, that simple. I explained why in one sentence and it makes sense. Sam can't even do something as simple as that. He's got to go through and skim through their videos to find parts to "mock" and then in the end doesn't even really say why he doesn't like them. Like, I know he's trying to be funny, but it's obvious dude actually has no idea what the beatles even really are, made even more apparent that he had to look up clips of them to skim through so in his head he can re-affirm "oh, yeah thats what the beatles are, yeah I don't like it."

A total normie will just accept they're good because of hearsay and general reception of them, which is still that they're a great band.
