He was a fatass, did a ton of drugs, stayed in bed for 30 years and still managed to hit the early 80s. Honestly amazing. My uncle was straight edge, fit and ate healthy since he was a teenager and died at 65.

The "30 years" thing is an incredible exaggeration because Brian was still recording music occasionally after SMiLE. Also, remember, he ran a health food store during this time as well. That was an actual business location.

His mother says, in one of the documentaries, his father would get the same way.
