Iggy doesn't have the personality or poeticism to replace Jim and The Doors probably weren't willing to go heavy or energetic enough to suit Iggy's chaos, so it would not have been any good.

If it wasn't for that he'd be only remembered as the singer in that protopunk band that had one good album

He wasnt anywhere near the charisma, pussy magnet, 'crazy poet' icon brand that Morrison had, even though he was just singing circus pop music with pretentious bossa nova instrumental influences
