The fate of a lot of artists sadly, either that or no radio exposure at all, like in Nick Drake's case

Always loved her voice. I prefer California Nights but enjoy anything by her.

How come the 50s autist never goes after Lesley Gore?

she was a 60s not a 50s singer why would you bring her up if the 50s were discussed?

Even still, she seems like she would fall into the same sort of boat they occupied.

I mean, It's My Party is a very very overplayed song.

Sunshine, Lollipop, and Rainbows: The Best of Lesley Gore [Rhino Legacy, 1998]
depressingly boy-identified for a proto-feminist icon ("She's a Fool", "Judy's Turn To Cry") *

Why haven't you been banned? How come you never say anything at all other than posting his reviews? Are you that autistic you cannot actually conversate with people without copy and pasting text from someone else?

the early 60s if a bit cheesy didn't have too many actively hateable singers. sure you could beat up on the Frankie, Bobby etc teen idols but they were so meaningless and ephemeral that there would be no point in it. you may as well hate Nick Carter.

he didn't review the OP album and it would have doubtlessly been far off his radar in terms of the stuff he was writing about at that time
