i never really got the aggressive praise for sell out. quick one, my generation, tommy, whos next, and quadrophenia for me. The title track to A Quick One is transcendental, iver the engine driver kills me

I really love this album, but I have to admit it's somewhat of a train wreck. The fact that the entire band contributed to the songwriting led to some disastrous moments like Cowbells and See My Way, they left out two great Pete songs= Happy Jack, i'm a Boy, but they included a crappy one= "dont look away" .Overall, it feels very unbalanced and amateurish compared to other 1966 albums.
