TikTok encourages novelty songs to rise on the top because you need that 5 second funny and catchy loop to hook people for the video, longer songs of substance has no room there. Live music is dead because Livenation and Ticketmaster outpriced the average person and clubs now either just hire DJs or automatically play Spotify playlists through the PA so kids can’t go out and watch local bands anymore.
