Do you think that having racks of vinyl and CDs makes you better who only listen to music digitally? Can't deny, I'm sick of them taking up space but don't want people to laugh at me and call me a wavfag

No, but racks of vinyl and CDs do have a residual value, which is useful.

Vinyls are for hipsters.
I buy cds because it is nice to have the actual physical material in front of you that can't be censored or have a few tracks edited off because some issue with the label and streaming platform

Sure it can, depends on an individual case by case basis.

I'm talking in real time the way streaming services are. One month the whole album is there, the next they're having issues with the label and recording group so now half the album is missing or it is an edited or redacted version. If you have the physical copy then the songs will always be there. Obviously censorship can still happen

Which is cheaper and takes up less space? Which is simpler to use in the day to day?
If you don't have an entire bookshelf's worth of space to fit a vinyl collection, you can still enjoy your music with CDs

I keep all my cds (but I have the space) I dont use them but keep then in case somehow my digital library disappears. I have a lot live recordings and wierd out of print stuff that would be very hard, if not impossible to source now.

i buy vinyl for the aesthetic and I do not care if most of my listening is on spotify
sometimes i read the lyric sheet inserts while streaming the actual music because i am so incredibly based

It's even worse than that. Musicians are releasing half-finished albums and then silently updating them too when they're done.
