AJR are one of those bands where the "irrational" hatred is pretty justified. They're all silver spoon cosmopolitan Jews who want to have the quirky sensibilities of Ok Go while commodifying twee indie aesthetics into safe commercial pop. And while they were successful, nothing will distract from the fact they performed at the White House, so regardless of your opinion of them you have to admit they fulfill the status quo and are thus inherently lame.
