Rap is not music
Anonymous No.126846486 [Report] >>126846507
I'm really fucking tired of rap. It's been the dominant style of music for like 20 years.

It will never end. Rap and bubblegum are here to stay because record companies don't want to pay instrumentalists to do what a computer can do instead.

Modern rap is shit and people realize that you cant push this garbage anymore. why do you think there hasn't been a mainstream rapper in 10 years

They don't need to push new mainstream rappers. J Cole, Kendrick, Kanye, Future are still as popular as ever. And if they ever run out of gas they can just go back to the days of dubstep and milk the early 2010s nostalgia.

>J.Cole
Has the same cadence and raps about the same paranoia like he's hiding from the feds as any other rapper

Rap was about to die there were articles even written about the death of hip hop and wondering wither the genre would survive changing times before Obama took office
