I believe Fripp used Line 6 amps with KC in the 90s, which is underappreciated for sure and sounds good.

So many have went DI for bass and guitar solos specifically, but 12 Rods I believe truly was all digital with amps, notably Line 6 stuff. All the albums in fact, right from the start. Nowadays, it's more digital than analogue. The last 10 years has all been VST plugins or Helixes and Kempers.
