I agree the vocals could be better, and there are some moments where the note choices are nonsensical and don't fit the song or mood, but they are rare, and the songs a otherwise quite catchy while still being really intense, also the solid state guitar tone is great. Its one of the few great solid state albums, it helps make it sound so dark.

I’m more of a black metal man but I actually do love this album. It took a few listens but it’s actually extremely rhythmic and pleasing to listen to. I can even put it on on a run and it’s got a good cadence

It's a very inaccessible album, but once it clicks, you'll be addicted to it. I used to think it was the worst thing I've ever heard, but then I decided to relisten to it one day, and I absolutely loved it.

When I first heard the album, they were the thing that I liked the least. But now I love them. They are very unique, they have a lot of "dynamics" to them, and being so frantic and manic gives this insane feeling to the record. You won't hear any other vocalist in death metal that sounds like Lord Worm.
