/mu/'s thoughts on John Mayer?
He's got a few bops here and there but mostly mediocre.
>>126896294 (OP)I bet he regrets signing with PRS and gazes at his Strat every night.
good guitarist, capable musician with high potential and his initial commitment to establishing a music career is very respectable. i’ve barely heard any of his musuc though. what i have heard is good but not amazing.
>>126896294 (OP)my dad adores him to no end.... i just think he'd be good if he cared about doing more than his (barely) elaborate coffee shop blues pop. he could be a great! but he doesnt care about great ideas it seems. also he's aging and it shows NOT A BAD THING but switching to synth pop isnt the right way imo
Whoa oah oooah oh oh dun dun
Gravity!
actually based
sob rock has 5 bangers on it
honestly even his lyrics which can get a little cringe just work somehow
>>126896294 (OP)I don't think I've ever heard his music.
>>126896294 (OP)MGK of his generation, without the tabloid shit.
How in the fuck did he get hooked with the Grateful Dead.
>>126896294 (OP)bros think he is the greatest guitarist to ever live. I wont argue because I dont want to come off as autistic
>>126896294 (OP)Just some shitty pop rock artist
>>126896294 (OP)he fucked every starlet in Hollywood
>>126896294 (OP)He says what he needs to say, says what he needs to say.
