I'm gonna be totally honest here.

I like a lot of late 80s and early 90s shoegaze and shoegaze-adjacent music but I just kinda find this album boring. Cherry-coloured funk and the title track are pretty good but other than those two, none of the tracks on this album really do it for me.

I guess none of those songs are bad per se, they just don't resonate with me for whatever reason.

It's kinda rich saying this since we're talking about dream pop/ambient pop here, but I feel like not much is happening in these songs. I guess some of it has to do with the fact that I prefer more distorted guitars in this kind of music. The clean guitar tone just doesn't do it for me.
