Pretty based. Most live shows are awful anyway.

both, although a few points off for using playback and lip syncing for the few live appearances she has. i wish she did a live show at least once, i would probably cry like a bitch :(

Watermark [Geffen, 1988]
A new name with a pedigree--she brought her family's upmarket Irish folk concept Clannad into the synthesizer age before leaving to pursue her own economic interests. Whilst humanizing technology, perpetrating banal verse in three languages (I'm guessing about the Gaelic after reading the English and figuring out the Latin), and mentioning Africa, the Orinoco, and other deep dark faraway places, her top-10 CD makes hay of pop's old reliable women-are-angels scam. At least the Cocteau Twins are eccentric. At least ELP were vulgarians. D+

He is a veteran music critic and has reviewed thousands of albums. I always trust Christgau's judgment. Who the fuck are you?

Someone who listens to music and forms their own opinions about it instead of relying on some retarded critic spouting nonsense in a failing attempt to look cool.

this. Critics are useless unless you're an insecure, literally pretentious twatwaffle who doesn't understand music.

Enya is based so yes this is based. There's no good way to match the production sound of Enya's albums in a live setting. Notice how the Beatles were a huge touring band up until they started experimenting in the studio with George.
