Tad, early Soundgarden, Swallow. And it's not "noise grunge", it's just grunge, a regional variant of post-hardcore music. Pearl Jam is not grunge, Temple of the Dog is not grunge. Alice in Chains and later Soundgarden are alternative metal with sludgy influences.

IMO Raw Power is the most proto-grunge sounding. The Iggy mix is much better than the Bowie one too.

In general, my recommendation would be to just look up what influenced Nirvana, Unwound, Wipers, etc etc.
