Luckily for you, that museum (National Museum of African-American History and Culture) is about to be massively defunded by the Trump Administration.

I'm not kidding. Trump was threatening that place a few months ago over promoting an anti-American and "anti-white" historical narrative.

Why do histories of rock'n'roll and rap which fellate blacks for inventing the genres never mention the whites who actually invented instruments and electronics without which those genres would be literally impossible like the electric guitar and the sampler? Blacks have never invented anything

I like how they used J Dilla because he's fucking dead. Absolutely no one knows who this guy is outside of the internet. They should have just put a photo of Dr. Dre beating his wife with a caption "Dr. Dre making a beat" above the machine. It would have made way more sense if they wanted an actual prolific figure.

Not true at all quite the opposite it made modern music thrive more and made it more innovative, also on the side sampling brings the spirit of the old world's music to a new audience which makes their legacy last forever, hating on sampling makes you look like a newbie.

If you want to get deeper too then you're implying keyboards like The Mellotron killed modern music which is a laughable take because the most famous musicians from the 60s to later have heavily used it in their music ie Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, King Crimson and Pink Floyd

however aren't blues and rock also built on western theory/convention through hymns and folk music? you got the western chordal harmony, and from the afro influence an emphasis on rhythm and lusty negro attitudes
although a lot of euro folk music is danceable to begin with, putting a kick and snare and electric instruments to euro/appalachian folk music would pretty much create a form of rock

Its not, in the same way tracing or photobashing or proompting isn't controversial, because the argument has been thoroughly settled.

The greatest tragedy of Detroit is how its culture deteriorated.

100 years ago the city was dubbed the "Paris of America" because of its beauty. In the 1930s, FDR's administration commissioned artists to paint beautiful murals all over the city which glorified autoworkers by showcasing them as heroes (picrel).

Now Detroit's culture is nothing but ugliness, and because of this its residents have lost any shred of optimism or solidarity. It doesn't matter if you bring the manufacturing jobs back. As long as Detroit remains a bastion of ugly culture it will never recover.

Yeah never mind the fact that said “beauty” was made by underpaid and exploited wage slaves.

All art, regardless of ideology, must reflect order, unity, clarity and purpose. Why? Because beauty is not neutral. It is a transcendental of being, reflecting God’s true nature.
