>>126974961 (OP)I find his whiny voice offputting but I liked the Dead Man OST a lot
>>126975064came here to say this. I only own one Neil Young record, it's the Dead Man OST and it's brilliant.
>>126975064>>126975141great movie great soundtrack
jarmusch is the goat
>>126974961 (OP)For me, it's Tonight's The Night
>>126974961 (OP)Yeah, I got into him over the last month or so. Seems like an asshole, though.
Definitely.
He made CSN tolerable.
Cinnamon Girl is one of the best tribute to red head women I know of.
His leads are very easy to learn.
Not only that, he perfect punk while inventing grunge at the same time.
What's not to love?

He also told MTV to fuck off.
The song was a hit, and so was the video, but MTV couldn't play it.

>>126974961 (OP)i listened to all the neil young albums on the 500 greatest list and they all sucked
This is a beautiful, soulful song. Every other song I've heard of him sucks

I've never bothered listening to a full studio album by him but his live albums are kino of the highest order.
>listened to harvest
>listened to zuma
>listened to rust never sleeps
Where do I go from here if I prefer electric-rock Neil to acoustic Neil?
>>126979697Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, Live Rust and Ragged Glory, also check out the ditch trilogy
>>126979697After the Gold Rush is the perfect mix
I'm not a big Young fan. I like a couple of his songs. But I did enjoy his 'new' album. What did you guys think of it? Pic related.
one of my favorites

>>126974961 (OP)Just as long as he avoids politics.
I was just listening to American Stars & Bars and it still holds up. The guy never made a bad album in the '70s.
>>126974961 (OP)BUT EVERY JUNKIE IS LIKE A SETTING SUN
>>126974961 (OP)Yes.
It's a good thing you said "Niel Young's Music" specifically because otherwise I'd have to change my response.

Cause once you're gone, you can't come back.

>>126991627Provided you delete one track off of it.
>>126974961 (OP)Of course.
>>126974990The definitive version. Billions must listen.
