Hey, something strange happened to me.
About a month ago, I toon a huge dose of mushrooms. Had a great trip, not the first time I do it either. I enjoyed it, everything went right.
But the problem started the next day, I tried listening to music and it all sounded bad. All my favorite music sounded horrible: predictable, stupid, low effort. Lyrics also give me profound cringe.
I figured it would go away after a few days but nope, I just stopped liking the music I like.
I can't seem to enjoy any music except for classical (which is weird because I never cared about it before).
I'm still hoping it will go away but it's been 32 days now and it's still like that.
Anyone else can relate? What should I do?
>>126983063 (OP)Try listening to PRODUCT by SOPHIE on a good soundsystem
>>126983063 (OP)Isn't this just a variation on that post where anon claimed they listened to Wagner's Ring on mushrooms and now everything sounded like nursery rhymes to them?
I used to listen to like 16 hours of music a day on my old PC. After Spotify came out, I used that for a bit, but eventually I just got tired of skips and I started exclusively listening to white, brown, blue, or other ambient noises. I feel calm. Music can be demanding.
>>126984594Does anyone have that saved somewhere? I want to see it again
>>126983063 (OP)Thank for turning me off ever trying that shit
>>126983063 (OP)No idea mate. I took 7gs and listened to Mazzy the the whole time, only sounds better now. Maybe you finally reached "im burnt out on music" phase. Switch to podcasts for a week and see what happens. There's a radio station where I'm from that posts their shows everyday, I just listen to that when I get burnt out
>>126984627Truly missing out, everyone should at least once in their lives. Personally I think its a relatively big life experience that you can't miss out on.
>>126983063 (OP)>What should I do?Nothing. Just continue. Your brain finally realized that classical music is the only music worth listening to. The veil has been lifted. You've cracked the code. You've seen through the Matrix. This isn't a crisis; it's enlightenment. Congratulations.
>>126983063 (OP)>What should I do?keep listening to classical and be glad you've been cured of your bad taste.
>>126984574I wasn't saying it for tranny reasons, but very mathematically-engineered synesthesic music might exercise a different kind of stimulation, I'm curious if it has a different result
>junkie addict not be obnoxious challenge: impossible
>>126983063 (OP)>I can't seem to enjoy any music except for classical (which is weird because I never cared about it before).Weird, ive got a friend that took lcd and experienced the same, he said he got sick of the bass in music and would only listen to classical.
>classical midwits not be pretentious lying retards challenge: impossible
>>126984594Sure reads like it. Yet it's both longer and less funny.

>>126983063 (OP)why would you do a drug that could change you so much in just one use lmao this just sounds lame
>>126984643I took shrooms and had the equivalent of a psychosis followed by weeks of depression. Great times.
>>126983063 (OP)donโt listen to music for a week and get drunk
>>126985097100% of the time people use the word 'pretentious', it's because something made them feel intellectually insecure.
>>126986780He just did.
>>126983063 (OP)same, I never tried any substances in my life, but the cause was a tool record and the record totally sucked. the next day, everything was so dissonant that I couldn't live through a single track. I just made trash music on my PC every day, and it just went away after 7-8 days of that. lesson learned tool sucks and I was a bit afraid to approach their records again but I tried Lateralus a few months ago and it actually wasn't so bad. you're going through a phase I'd say
