The problem is not that any song is bad, but that the album feels unbalanced. Especially for a group known for their later "concept" records, it feels odd to have an album that so lacks thematic and musical cohesion. Of course, Echoes itself is incredibly unified in its artistry, but this only makes the diversity even more pronounced.

Echoes is the one i like least. Takes the longest to get going and is just in general too long. Still my favourite pink floyd album. I dont enjoy the prog concept albums as much and the syd stuff is too unfocused. Meddle and obscured by clouds are the two best floyd albums
