You can keep your Buddy Holly, Hank Williams, Kurt Cobain

This was the single biggest lost to music, possibly ever

Leroy Brown slaps. Don't Mess Around With Jim is the same song but not as good. I've never heard that Operator song (I think.) I think he has a song about his kid, too, that was a hit, but I don't want to hear it.

Give me the best Croce stuff that isn't some super hits bullshit. Hank, Holly and Kurt all have deep cuts. Does Croce? I want to know.

I know you specifically want "deep cuts" but honestly his greatest hits album is full of quality. Even still, you ask someone who sings "rapid roy" or "roller derby queen," they probably cant tell you or even know what songs youre talking about.

That sounds like it's the one about his kid. Don't want to hear it.
>>127005626
I haven't heard all of his greatest hits tbf.
I just listened to the Have You Heard versions of those songs. Roller Derby Queen reminds me of I Got a Woman by Ray Charles; it was okay. The melody has a soul music feel to it.

I liked Rapid Roy better, more rock n roll. But it reminded me a lot of his other bigger hits, Jim and Leroy. I'd rather just listen to those. Watching the guy though, he's a great performer/guitar player. Real chops.
