I went to a 60% black school in a big city in the south in the 90s. The reason I was angry all the time was because they would cause such a big distraction every day that it made it impossible to learn.

From my understanding they were mostly angry that they grew up in safe and comfortable suburbs and had a fairly simple pathway to getting a good job and a home but they didn't have a magical negro friend to tell them they're one of the good ones like in the media.
