Unironically yes. The Rolling Stones were his band and he was pissed that Mick and Keith were getting so much attention for writing all their hit songs. Mick in particular was becoming a bigger star than him, and he didn't like it. He checked out completely; started missing gigs, missing recording sessions. He didn't have any friends left in The Stones when he died.

He also owed a lot of money to people (iirc he had six kids, all with different women) including back taxes to the government. He made a lot of enemies in general because he was such an asshole to everyone. Keith wrote in his book that he thinks Brian said the wrong thing to one of the contractors who was working on his house and that they pushed him in the pool.

mick and keith grew up sheltered but brian was living the degenerate rock n roll life since he was a teen. The entire Stones bad boy image in the beginning was based on brians actual life.
The manager knew brian was a liability so pushed mick and keith to be the writers to divide the band and be more controllable. Brian still had the most style and swag of all of them until around 67 when he suddenly got fat and messy and hit twink death and took more drugs to cope with it all.

>>At a hotel in Clearwater, Florida, on the sixth of May 1965, the same day that Jagger and Richards finished writing “Satisfaction”, a girl that Bill Wyman had slept with the night before came to him in tears. She’d been with a friend the day before, and the friend had gone off with Jones while she’d gone off with Wyman. Jones had raped her friend, and had beaten her up — he’d blackened both her eyes and done other damage. Jones had hurt this girl so badly that even the other Stones, who as we have seen were very far from winning any awards for being feminists of the year, were horrified. There was some discussion of calling the police on him, but eventually they decided to take matters into their own hands, or at least into one of their employees’ hands. They got their roadie Mike Dorsey to teach him a lesson, though Oldham was insistent that Dorsey not mess up Jones’ face. Dorsey dangled Jones by his collar and belt out of an upstairs window and told Jones that if he ever did anything like that again, he’d drop him. He also beat him up, cracking two of Jones’ ribs.
>And so Jones was not in any state to play on the group’s first US number one, or to play much at all at the session, because of the painkillers he was on for the cracked ribs.
Jones would remain in the band for the next few years, but he had gone from being the group’s leader to someone they disliked and were disgusted by

Hmmm. I don't think Keith's version of events is going to be unbiased. And if you're the one person that is being squeezed out of the band you may very well end up with a dubious character reference and drowning to death in water. Whose to say?

Jones raped Jagger in the ass for the rent back in the day. As Jagger's star rose, I believe he wanted to murder Jones so as to reassert his fractured masculinity.

>He was an asshole to everyone

This but he was being gaslit constantly by Tavistock spooks so he was actually "being an asshole to everyone" as in they were changing his environment to make him look crazy and unreasonable as he probably wasn't getting in line or something.

Remember /mu/sicians, don't forget to go by talmudic law when you conduct yourself and diddy rape a few kids on the side, otherwise youre an asshole

Super rich rabbinic people and their goyim friends can live on a separate legal system than me and you, where they get away with everything and particularly extremely heinous things.

This is related to why Diddy got off, and why the Epstein thing is "who cares?" All of a sudden. We are just beasts of the field in the superior talmudic noahide law apparently, ripe for rapping up the bumhole.
