This might actually get me into 311.
It reminds me of the deftones and of escape (pina colada) of all things. like a ska/reggae version of escape but filtered through an early 00s, late 90s generic radio rock mainstream alternative sound.
Pro: catchy, wavy, almost sinister repetitive riff, nice bridge and solo sections. Very nice.
Con: I can see how it would get annoying quick, it is mainstream rock for easy listening

For the longest time I thought I'd never like QOTSA again, but this album finally seems to be growing on me. This song is nothing they haven't done before, but the band's best material is all stripped-down and somber like that. (7/10)
