They changed their sound completely on Gran Turismo, it sounds like americana infused bond music. Their first 3 albums are phenomenal.

gran turismo/long gone before daylight/super extra gravity are incredibly overlooked for some reason (maybe less so gran turismo, which seems to get a decent amount of love now). i think they're all worth a listen show an attempt to change, long gone before daylight has some really good tracks and hearing nina actually learn to sing with force is nice. i have no idea why that one gets tossed aside
super extra gravity is sad to listen to though. cardigans weren't meant for 00s pop.
