Deftones always has left field covers. The smiths, weezerz cardigans. I'm not surprised.
They changed their sound completely on Gran Turismo, it sounds like americana infused bond music. Their first 3 albums are phenomenal.

The My Favorite Game music video was banned on MTV for no seat belt suicide. Its a beautiful song and video regardless

I honestly suggested that on a forum that deftones cover that song in 2010. Someone saw

The first three cardigans albums kick ass. I haven't listened to the later stuff.

I love Emmerdale because it has that acoustic backbone, gives it the feel of songs written sitting in someone's kitchen with a guitar. Very comfy, even though it's rather sad music

Emmerdale is oddly dark at times, more than an album like that would seem to be.
Life is a progressive pop concept album with plenty of 60s influence (motown, girl group, british invasion)
First band on moon is pure pop rock goodness, front to back, no skips

gran turismo/long gone before daylight/super extra gravity are incredibly overlooked for some reason (maybe less so gran turismo, which seems to get a decent amount of love now). i think they're all worth a listen show an attempt to change, long gone before daylight has some really good tracks and hearing nina actually learn to sing with force is nice. i have no idea why that one gets tossed aside
super extra gravity is sad to listen to though. cardigans weren't meant for 00s pop.
