I honestly can't say I understand the modern pop industry because I'm so removed from it. I can't even name three songs by Sabrina Carpenter and I can't remember the Pink Pony Club girl's name or how that song sounds. I don't use any major social media and I discover new music mostly through curated mixes or playlists.
