UK. We (Australia) are proud that they got their start here, but we can't really claim them in all honesty.
They recorded their first few albums here before moving back to Britain. This was a big hit here in the 60s

The disco backlash in the '80s. They received so much hate because they were the face of disco in the '70s and no radio in the US would play their songs. They managed to soften it by collaborating with other singers but they never recovered from the backlash till two of the brothers died.
