Any males on your list?

...thought not. I bet you love Olivia Rodrigo too. Whatever makes you feel less threatened, I guess.

i really like a lot of idiotic gangsta rap from the 2000s. the jeezys and dem boyz and yo gottis and the like. same with a good bunch of meme-y soundcloud rappers (hi-c, ski mask..etc). it's not that i think that the music is ultimately bad, but that i realize just how moronic it is at its core, and how it champions said stupidity. i feel guilt for supporting it, which is i never mention how much i like it in order to avoid participating in their glorification, unless i'm certain of my interlocutor's alignment.

Good music can be made by people you don't like, which might make you feel guilty about succumbing to their musical charms. I feel like a chump for liking a couple of Billie Eilish songs, because I know that her music is a completely vapid business venture at its core and it can only ever be a simulation of actual human experience

Mostly girly pop hits or anything that is too poppy

What can I say? Those songwriters really know their craft and the vocalists give it all in their performance

>And the performers give it their all
That's where I blame a lot of contemporary pop stars. They're not trying hard enough with their singing. I don't have for xanax ass le moody radio hits

There were studio tricks to make them sound better than they were but at least they tried. Who started this "i'm too cool to sing so i'll whisper and moan into the mic" technique? Stop that.
