I don't give a shit about any of that.
But as a Vancouverite who has crossed paths with him, he is an addict with borderline schizophrenia. Has completely sabotaged his own career and image.

It's a shame because in Canada this guy really was an icon for a brief moment. His powerpop/alt rock style was like the pinnacle of radio rock in the late 90s-early 2000s. Just an insanely talented songwriter with the best production you could get at the time.

Didn't know who he was. Just always claimed he had some hack former rock star living next to him, always causing shit in the neighbourhood. Constantly having ambulances, firetrucks, police come.
