I think "i Vow to Thee My Country" is a country is a much better patriotic song and sums up more what the country is more about better and for England alone "Jerusalem" Rule Britannia is a little chauvinistic

idk I kind of like the religious delusion of Jerusalem, all the weird shit about Jesus visiting England somehow
plus the stuff about bring me my bow of burning gold, bring me my arrows of desire, bring me my spear, oh clouds unfold, bring me my chariot of fire etc
all thats really stirring and it builds to a great climax
but as a triumvirate, Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory are fuckign dope
