This album would've been a lot better without the dnb/jungle beats - /mu/ (#127088496) [Archived: 1058 hours ago]

/mu/ will call me a fag for this but it doesn't sound good, it just makes the album sound more dated, and is laughable to people who actually listen to the genre. It just sounds like Bowie listened to like 3 dnb songs and thought that he could give it a go himself

That being said the rest of this album is pretty damn great. Dead Man Walking, Seven Years In Tibet, I'm Afraid of Americans (original album version is superior over Trent Reznor's), Law, etc.... are top tier Bowie songs. I wish he stayed more in that lane, or maybe did the dnb thing as a one-off song and that was it. He really had something with this and most of Outside
