My twin was a philosophy/history major, got interested in philosophy from our oldest bro in the first place, and watching her try to talk about shit with him as she got older is sad af. She's always really careful to make him feel smart, but has told me in private that he hasn't read shit and just parrots random shit back to her from popular youtubers. One in particular but I can't remember his name. Said he texts her about everything he's been reading like a day after dude releases his videos every fuckin time. He's a fuckin know it all twat I wish she'd bust on him just fucking once. He dropped out of uni and is too anxious to to leave the house but somehow he's not too shy to get all up in everyone's business every time any of us go see our parents. Motherfucker is like mid to late 40's now, still doing the same shit. It's actually depressing to spend more than a few hours there because he's so pathetic and desperate to feel good about himself so I feel bad for him, but then he's an absolute dick. My parents really dropped the ball with him but they had him when they were like 15 so it's hard to blame them. He rarely listens to new music. Listens to mostly metal or some goth type shit I don't even know what the genre is, but we've all caught him listening to some corny shit like Dan Fogelberg or Paramore at some point. Imagine being 47-48 and still trying to listen to shit on the down low. We just tease him playfully about it so what the fuck is he so embarrassed about. He has had a last.fm for a long time and I'd always see him scrobbling shit that he would delete right after.
