i know the theme from clockwork orange is based on purcell's music for the funeral of queen mary, but the sublime expression in the performance is unequaled to this day, no cover of her version comes remotely close to match hers over 50 years later.
timesteps is basically proto-IDM 20 years before it became a thing, can't imagine how it was achieved with those old-school sequencers.
