It's way more than that. Actually, the lyrics about hating men are about as lighthearted and good-spirited as they can possibly be. I think that might be the problem, or at least part of it. I think it's just too nice. I usually have no problem with nice, clean sounding music, but this just takes it a little too far. The "edginess" that is there blends in with the inoffensiveness so that it doesn't really do anything. The whole thing just pisses me off. Every little detail about it. And I actually like some of this bands earlier songs.
