Wikipedia outright states Sailor was Bowie and a lot of articles say the same thing (while pointing out that there were people who posed as Bowie on other forums with the Sailor username and posted very out of character things). The Sailor posts on BowieNet also do match Bowie's personality and his writing style in the Q&A's.
