Why do notable musicians always die days after doing something big?

Ozzy after his goodbye concert.

Connie Francis after her song goes viral.

Sly Stone after a doc made about him.

Bowie works on Blackstar whilst terminally ill, dies days after its release.

J Dilla works on Donuts whilst terminally ill, dies days after its release.

Warren Zevon works on The Wind whilst terminally ill, dies days after its release.

Leonard Cohen works on You Want It Darker whilst terminally ill, dies days after its release.

I'm sure there's plenty of other examples but these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

What's going on here?

He's worth millions, has had a literal team of people around him employed to make his life the way it is for the last 40 years.

I'm sure for the last few years doctors were probably estimating how many years he had to live with like 90% accuracy given the money he has.

I’m not sure but that seems to be their usual modus operandi. The Beach Boys also had a Disney documentary not too long ago and the moment I saw that i knew Brian didn’t have much left. Ozzy’s death really caught me off guard though, I was expecting it later this year, not just weeks before his demise.

There are reports that talk about how terminally ill people are more likely to die after a milestone (such as a birthday) than they are before it. Or, if someone terminally ill is waiting to see a relative, they will hold off on dying until that relative sees them. It's interesting stuff.

If I knew I was going to die of illness within a year I'd spend my time working on music too.

I have heard that its common for people to die shortly after retirement because they were holding up by willpower alone, but once they felt they were done their bodies give up.
Also it could be the other way around. Maybe he retired when he did precisely because he was feeling like he couldn´t keep going anymore.

So far that's just a rumor based on some comments Sharon made back in 2007 (see link below). I've also seen some people claiming the whole family was in Switzerland recently as well, but have yet to see evidence of that.

>There's a reason the family is making the cause of death secret.
I mean he JUST died. The man's body is still warm and people are asking for intimate details about his death. His family asked for privacy while they mourn. I'm sure we'll find out in due time. If you've ever lost a loved one, you'd know that you aren't exactly in the best shape mentally to do anything but process the harsh reality of what's happening at the moment.

MAiD needs to be illegal. It's basically eugenics. The state should have no control over life and death, which is exactly why the death penalty is also deeply problematic.

Suicide is eugenics? What? Take your meds.

The person set to die takes an active role in their own death. It's their choice. They make the final call, and they take the final physical action which will end their own life. It's called suicide for a reason, not murder. The entire process is outlined here:

People in Canada are applying for MAiD specifically due to poverty or a non-fatal condition like autism. The fact the government approves these things is proof they want "undesirables" dead and are using MAiD to do it. Eugenics.

I learned about this while researching death during a family scenario. It's actually very common for people near death to be waiting for the right moment in a manner of speaking. Essentially, they're waiting to tick one last box and once it's ticked, they "let go" figuratively speaking.
Like in elderly people often in hospice, it's not at all uncommon for the patient to see a family member that they have been expecting and waiting a period of time, spend some time with them, and then pass away shortly after the person leaves.
Very sad but also very intriguing as far as death goes.

making something available ≠ encouragement

It's not exactly hard to kill yourself you know. You don't need medical assistance to do it. All MAiD does is ensure that it's done in a safe, quick, and painless way. Jumping in front of a train, downing a bunch of pills + booze, or assembling your own "exit bag" are not difficult tasks. But if you fuck up, you're in for a world of hurt.
