hey! i'm new to the /mu/ forums and i haven't seen any weezer, specifically pinkerton, discussions. i've listened to weezer for a little over a year and i have some background info, as i read the wikipedia and weezerpedia many times and have read most of the 1995 chapter of pinkerton diaries. if you have anything to add or say, go for it mate.

oh sick! i haven't seen this b4. i don't really know the interviews so this is new
also based on his haircut this is 1996/7 right
>>127143937 (OP)Cool thread its been a while since i listened to this. Rivers was only 26 when pinkerton came out, listening to the good life haha rivers if you only knew...i identified with feeling old while being young. I WANNA GO BACK
slightly related but here's something i found in "the good life";
in 1995 (specifically april 14, yes i know the date) he broke his leg and multiple times in pinkerton diaries he claimed he was like an "old man" and that's referenced in the good life's lyrics "broken beaten down/cant even get around/w/o an old man cane" (verse 2 or so) and "cause i dont wanna be an old man anymore" (chorus i think??)
>>127143937 (OP)The only Weezer I've listened to is Raditude and I hated it so I never bothered with any of their other albums
