You dont have to learn notes or music theory for any instrument, it's just reptile brain conditioning, like learning to walk or play tennis. Practice some movements a couple of times, take a little break for a couple of minutes and you will have improved when you try again, that's how the brain works. As soon as you can play some sequence fast, you should try to so always rather than aim to play perfectly or correctly, the body and brain is lazy so when forced to things many times quickly the reptile brain will iron what you're doing out to one smooth effective movement automatically.
