I enjoy the jams of a lifetime from this era, but not the neutered disappointments on this album.

I honestly associate this album more with Spring. Rainy Spring afternoons with raindrops sliding down the windows to be exact.

It’s hard to say because Bluish captures the feeling of falling in love so fucking well that I would ignore any flaw it had. The other candidate for #1 is Summertime Clothes which just has an S tier chorus.

There's one song about summer, which is actually a multi-seasonal song. The word "summer" being included does not undo the sound of the album. There could have been a song on the album explicitly about how the whole thing takes place in summer and you're wrong to associate it with any other season, and that wouldn't change the fact that it sounds like a rainy Spring afternoon.

>The album actually doesn't sound the way it sounds because of the inclusion of a word in one song

So you're saying that the production, sound design, and instrumentation is all null and void because of the inclusion of a particular word in a song. Are you able to hear music, or can you only gauge what you're hearing by the information provided to you in the lyrics? You might be tone deaf if associate this album with the hot, dry season of summer. It sounds absolutely nothing like that.
