As far as Witchfinder General is concerned, I would've chosen Invisible Hate.

As far as Nirvana is concerned, I would've chosen Negative Creep.

invisible hate I can see, but I've always preferred more notier riffs like supernaut than pure chuggers like symptom of the universe or paranoid, that's why I chose school

I was gonna post Born Too Late by St. Vitus, but good choice posting a live version.
Instead, I'll post St. Vitus covering Black Flag, because if Black Sabbath covered Black Flag, this is how it would've sounded

I always thought that Working Man sounded more like Led Zepplin, but I could see how it could work, on some levels, as Doom Metal in the style of Black Sabbath.

Alice in Chains weren't "Grunge"!
They were Doom Metal!
AIC were a good second rate Black Sabbath rip off, and Dirt was a good second rate rip off of Paranoid.

them bones has such a cool jerky rhythm, combined with the ascending chugging riff it perfectly describes that panic that can take hold of someone contemplating his own death
Every time I listen to that song I imagine a man trapped inside an hourglass, drowning in its sand

Here's a local band from Chicago.
I think this has a bit of an early BS vibe to it, although in some parts it might sound too upbeat and cheerful.

Jerry Cantrell truly embodied what Iommi meant with his genre defining guitar tones. Tony and Jerry understand having god tier guitar isn't about playing a million notes, it's about rhythm and making those notes sound fucking good together.

I can hear it, though nothing on dehumanizer is quite as funky, they lost that with bill ward methinks
"I" has a great riff though, and might just be the best thing they did with Dio

Yeah, the PF song is definitely on the BS tip.
The second video sounds like Rod Stewart era Faces, but I could see/hear how this could work as a BS style song if the guitars were totally distorted, and maybe the sng was slowed down a bit.
