ehhh, weakest ozzy era album, even 13 can be trimmed to a decent 40 minute affair

The Bill Ward song is awesome. He should have sang more.

wrong. only bad song is rock n roll doctor which is pure cringe, and she's gone is weak too even though I like it.

i honestly love every song on the album. not even trying to be contrarian. never say die is the weakest ozzy sabbath i think.

Agreed.
You, I LIKE!
>>127153584
I sort of agree, but I also think All Moving Parts (Should Kill) and Rock and Roll Doctor are just as good. The worst song is Gypsy, and I actually like that song.

I disagree, but at least you like All Moving Parts (Should Kill) so I give you a pass.
>>127153671
I vehemently, but respectfully disagree wit you. Rock and Roll Doctor is a fun song.

Yeah, Never Say Die is the hardest album for me to warm up to.
I like it, but I can't really listen to the whole thing, most of the ti8me.
Title track is GOAT, even though it's a blatant Thin Lizzy rip off, and, unless I'm REALLY in the mood to listen to the whole album, I usually turn it off after Johnny Blade.
The album is quite good, but the first two songs are really the best songs on there.

i... truthfully don't disagree with anything you've said there because that's virtually always my trip through the album, too lol

This was the product of their record company pushing them to do more radio friendly songs and to sound more like Foreigner - it has standard tuning as opposed to downtuned Sab stuff. But I like this album still, it really feels like Sabbath even with the polish which was unlike them to have.

Of course handing them huge bags of cocaine, and heroin was also a good motivator.....

damn. i wonder what kinda album we would have got if they just made what they wanted having just come off Sabotage. could have been a case of classic 7 instead of 6.

This. Never Say Die, Junior's Eyes and Johnny Blade are absolute bangers, especially Johnny Blade, it's probably my favorite BS song ever
