I've never met a Lenny Kravitz fan in my life. Do they exist?
>>127157107 (OP)>40 million albums soldyes, he probably has some fans
>>127157107 (OP)He has a following mostly women who are drawn to his appearance. he has some catchy songs of course, but nothing substantial to spark meaningful conversation
5 [Virgin, 1998]
His convoluted racial formalism have long since come clean as a total absence of original ideas, he grabs the brass ring from behind a tacked-on Guess Who cover best heard on the far more imaginative Austin Powers soundtrack. Lenny, your work on Earth is done. We have Derek Jeter now. C-
>>127157107 (OP)I wouldn't all myself a fan but I like are you going to go my way or whatever and it ain't over till its over
Fly Away was a fun little song in the late 90s but in the late 90s it should stay. Some things just do not transcend the time they came out in.
>>127157107 (OP)He was huge in the late 80s early 90s, back then he had a lot of fans. His music came off as much more interesting before Smells Like Teen Spirit, there wasnt that much interesting rocknroll in the charts.
>>127157961>His music came off as much more interesting before Smells Like Teen Spirit, there wasnt that much interesting rocknroll in the charts.just stale hair metal crap
>>127157107 (OP)I wouldn't call myself a fan, but not a hater. He's OK.
>>127157994>just stale hair metal crapIt's not hair metal at all. It's kind neo-hippy with a bit of neo-soul.

>>127158019Oh wait, you were saying most of the stuff before Nirvana on the charts was hair metal. Yeah.
>>127157107 (OP)I met ugly southeast asian guys who cover his music thinking he's cool and desirable
>>127157994>>127158030Well there was GnR, Aerosmith, Walking in Memphis, Road to Nowhere, Still Got The Blues
not a good time to be alive
Are You Gonna Go My Way is the only popular rock song about Jesus in like the past 50 years. So Lenny deserves a nod for that. I don't know what the last was. Probably Doobie Bros.
>>127158067I meant Road to Hell with Chris Rea
that was the type of rock music that would hit the charts or at least high rotation
>>127158067That was the first I even heard Sweet Emotion, even though it was an old song. That song rocks. I was a kid, but they made a new video for it back then.
For me, it's Calling All Angels
I remember watching the Dutch-Belgian equivalent of Survivor, called Expeditie Robinson, and on it was some Belgian retard who won a test got to eat on a boat, and as the song to listen to on the boat he chose Stillness of Heart. Lmao.
