I love these guys but if you put a gun to my head and asked me to differentiate one song from another I'd probably be dead.

I've never heard of that band, but you sound like a faggot, so I won't be listening to them

How can you say you love a band if you don't know shit about their music

Because a lot of their songs sound similar to each other so everything just blends together. I judge their music as more of an album experience rather than on a track by track basis

They don't sound anything like each other. You're telling me you can't distinguish Vanished from Rational Gaze?

I'm talking about on a single album. Yes generally all of their albums have a slightly different sound and I could probably differentiate what album a song is off of, but as an album experience all their songs just blend together for me.

no you have to be able to remember every single note of every single song you claim to "enjoy" because otherwise you're literally a complete and utter retard who doesn't even know how to do something as basic as listening to music. I bet you don't even know the backstory of how they recorded that album or any of the literary references in the lyrics (if you even know the lyrics, probably not since you don't even know what the songs on this album you claim to love so much sound like). The algorithm has ruined music. Everyone just wants to be spoon fed slop. No one seeks out anything with any artistic merit anymore because somehow that's too challenging for all you braindead peons.

for me, this is true for most albums. unless a song repeatedly sings the title in a catchy fashion, I wouldn't be able to name it

pretty much everything on and after Kollos is a repetitive blur in my mind, but None, Destroy Erase Improve, and Chaosphere are absolute kino. Nothing is good for the most part and Catch Thirty-Three and Obzen are great but that's about as much as I can tolerate with their modern style. also djent isn't a genre and i blame them for tricking retarded bands into thinking it is and rotting modern metal.
