Last week I was reminded of the existance of Dr. Bombay (an artist I listened to a lot as a kid) and found the music surprisingly enjoyable.
I tried to find similar sounding artists (found Aqua, Toy-Box, Daze and Cartoons), but all of them feel a bit too commercial and none of them really clicked with my eardrums.

I like the high, positive energy and humor of this type of music, but would love to know of artists with perhaps a bit more heart and depth, or at least less "plastic".

Any suggestions?
