You see, I think the concept of electronic music is really hard to understand has a “skill/talent” sort of thing. I mean it’s obvious that there is creativity and talent involved in it, the thing is however it’s based on the “technical side” of the sounds involved in the sound design process. I think we can all agree that there is music that is meant to be enjoyed in certain settings and others in different settings. So who is the “best” EDM/IDM/DNB/etc. artist is kind of a hard tittle to give someone. I know some artists that have made songs that have sounds that are legit out of this world, but I couldn’t “rate” them or say one is better then the other. Specially in the context of computer music as opposed to actual skill based like guitar playing or drums or another obscure super hard to master instrument. In Pc you have time to trim and copy paste so, even though the creativity and talent are there, the actual skill to reproduce the song is a easier process. A classical music artist can’t fuck up when performing so you know. But since you asked for me it Teddy Killerz, hyperspeed EP.
