Gene and Paul want to kill Ace and Peter, but most importantly Peter just cannot play anymore and hasn't been able to since he got smashed up in a car accident in the late 70s which was why he left the band in the first place. the reunion shows in the late 90s already proved why that didn't work and you think it would be any better now that the guys are in their 70s?
