I'm tired of pretending Amnesiac is a good record. it's up there with King of Limbs at being fucking boring and aimless. It has good songs but overall it's boring shit

I agree the music is awful but the deal with that album cover is it was also available packaged in the red book in the picture which is way better visually.

I used to hate Amnesiac but then, and I'm dead serious when I say this, I listened to it in the dark. The overall mood of the album to me is one of being in a pitch black area, like a really dark forest or some shit, and you can't see 6 inches in front of you but something is in the dark and it CAN see you and it's watching. That's what listening to Amnesiac as an album feels like IMO, and even now I almost never put it on when the sun's out. Strictly nighttime music.
